Are these the cutest pot plant containers, ever?
If you're someone who struggles to keep plants alive in their pots then utilizing the wonders of modern medicine may be a good option. Each plant is sustained by its own water and nutrient source that is very visible - as an intravenous feed. If the drip feed runs out, it's time to refill.
While it might be the cutest thing you've ever seen, at £159.50 from the Vitamin store, you're not likely to keep one for anything other than its novelty value.

I was all set to rush out and buy one of these until I saw the price. But what a great idea, and it looks easy to rig up something like that yourself.

I remember one of my patient's husbands that was a machinist asking for his wife's IV bag and tubing setup after I DC'd her IV. I told him I was sure I wasn't allowed to give it to him because of biohazard laws. Then I did what I always did with the tubing: unattached the IV needle and put it in the sharps, and discarded the rest in the patient trash can.
I didn't see the bag and tubing in the trash can the next time I went to the room (this was many years ago, not sure they still put IV bags & tubing in the regular trash, but maybe they do).
