Gardening tips, gardening info and heaps of ideas to help gardeners of all experience get more out of their hobby and out of their gardens.

I no longer subscribe to any magazines but occassionally pick one up at the newsagents if it catches my attention. So, being the nosy blogger that I am, I'm keen for you to divulge your personal preferences when it comes to subscribing or buying gardening magazines.
And, has your subscriptions changed since you began reading blogs?

Hey Stuart!
Where's the tash gone?
Back to the question, none. Apart from Garden Design Journal, having said that there are 3 copies still unopened, so is that 1 or none?

I decided that as my friends were all growing them for Mo-vember I'd take mine off instead. Then I found that my wife preferred it off so it hasn't come back.
Plus they tell me I look 10 years younger!!!!
In response to your uncertainty about your subscription I would have to say that it was still worth 1. I'm lost as to how you controlled yourself from not opening it though - is it a good gardening magazine?

I don't subscribe to any right now. I just pick up whatever looks good at the bookstore.

I agree--I wondered for a while if Stuart's younger brother had taken over this blog! ;)
I don't subscribe to any right now, either, but I love picking up some of the English garden mags at my local bookstore. They seem to be a lot more entertaining and less pretentious fluff than the American ones we get.

Thanks Kim. You now have an official fan! Not that I wasn't a fan before - it just wasn't official!!
I find that second hand mags from a bookstore are usually a good thing too. They're cheaper than the news stands and most of the info is still fairly relevant.

Not really gardening per se, but they do have lots of gardening advice, is Mother Earth News.

Fine Gardening, Garden Design, and Horticulture. For YEARS. They've been my main gardening education/inspiration. Now there's also the local Washington Gardener Magazine.
