I just read a great post over at Whimspiration titled Guerilla Gardening - 12 Steps to Addiction.

It gives some great tips to help beginner guerilla's transform their community wastelands. I love the idea of Guerilla Gardening as it empowers people to do something other than just rant and rave to local authorities. And in most cases it doesn't take an enormous effort to beautify a run-down area.
